Address

A public identifier where crypto is received/sent on a blockchain.

Approval

Permission you grant a contract to spend a token on your behalf. Approve only trusted apps.

Block

A batch of validated transactions added to the blockchain in order.

Bridge

A tool/process that moves assets from one chain to another.

Confirmation

Additional blocks after your transaction that increase confidence it won’t be reversed.

Gas fee

The network cost to execute a transaction. Usually paid in the chain’s native token.

Nonce

A counter that keeps your transactions in order and prevents replay.

Rollup

A scaling method that batches many transactions and settles results to Ethereum.

Seed phrase

A set of words that can recreate your wallet keys. Treat it like the master password—never share.

Transaction hash

A unique ID used to track a transaction in a block explorer.
